Asus is currently busy preparing for the launch of its next mid-range smartphone ZenFone Max Pro M2. It has already confirmed the launch event for December 11th in Indonesia and is now teasing highlighting features of the device on social media. In the latest tweet, it has revealed that the ZenFone Max Pro M2 will be featuring a massive 5000mAh battery.
In the teaser image, Asus has mentioned: "Long Lasting Battery Life" along with specifically listing the battery capacity as 5000mAh. This is the same battery capacity as the currently available ZenFone Max Pro M1. It is good to see that the team is not compromising on the battery life which makes even more important as the phone is being touted as a gaming smartphone.
If we go by recent leaks and Asus teasers, the ZenFone Max Pro M2 is confirmed to sport a notched display. It is said to be a 6-inch Full HD+ IPS display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is expected to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. On the back, it is claimed to have a 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel dual rear camera setup with f/1.8 aperture, phase detection autofocus, and EIS.
There is said to be a 13-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture which will be housed within the notch. It will be running stock Android like the predecessor but the exact Android version is unknown for the moment.
