Asus India has unveiled two new laptops named VivoBook 15 (X505) and F570 in the country. Both of these are powered by AMD Ryzen processors but the first one is aimed at casual users and the second one is targeting the gamers community.
Starting with Asus VivoBook 15 (X505), it sports a 15.6-inch Full HD display with an 81% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, it has the AMD Ryzen 3-2200U chipset with AMD Radeon Vega 3 GPU and up to 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It also has a variant with Ryzen 5-2500U processor and Radeon Vega 8 GPU for those who would want some more power in their next laptop. The storage option is available up to 1TB SATA HDD and it ships with Windows 10.
Next up, it is the Asus F570 gaming laptop which has the same 15.6-inch Full HD display but with 60Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the AMD Ryzen 5-2500 processor coupled with Radeon Vega 8/NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 GPU and 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM. Since the laptop is aimed at attracting gamers, it comes with a backlit keyboard and 1.4mm optimum key travel. The storage option and Windows 10 software remains the same as the VivoBook 15.
The Asus VivoBook 15 (X505) and F570 laptops start at Rs. 30,990 and Rs. 52,990 respectively. They will be sold via online as well as offline channels but for the first month, the online availability is exclusive to Paytm Mall.
