Asus ZenFone 6 gets Super Night mode for wide-angle camera too

There is no doubt to the fact that the Asus ZenFone 6 is one of the worthy smartphones to consider if you are looking for flagship specs on a budget. With the hardware box of the device checked, the team seems to be committed to checking the software support box as well. It has announced a second software update for the flagship within one month of the release.

The latest ZenFone 6 software update brings Super Night mode support for Ultra-wide angle camera as well. It is the secondary 13-megapixel sensor in the dual camera setup. The update means that the secondary sensor can also be used for Night or low-light shots just like the primary camera.

Here is the official changelog for the newest update:

  • Enable "Super Night mode" on Ultra-wide camera.
  • Get weather displayed on the lock screen.
  • Optimize translation strings in Setting.
  • Improve system stability.
  • Improve camera rotation stability.
  • Optimize UI Animation.
  • Optimize the headphone sound quality.

It is an over the air update which means it should become available on your ZenFone 6 unit anytime soon. If you have not received it already, you can either choose to wait or look for the update manually by visiting system settings. Either way, the update should arrive sooner than later.
