Nubia is certainly having a new gaming smartphone in the works and going by the latest tip this upcoming phone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. According to a tipster named Sudhanshu Ambhore, the name of the phone is going to be the Red Magic 3S.

Qualcomm announced the slightly improved version of the Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform to deliver more powerful gaming performance and VR experience. To the uninitiated ones, Asus recently launched its new gaming smartphone powered by this latest processor and now Nubia is also said to be having a phone with this SoC.

This is the first time we are hearing something about Nubia’s upcoming gaming smartphone and the tipster hasn’t also shared any other details, so we can’t tell what else exactly is coming apart from the new processor. But going by the specifications of the Nubia Red Magic 3, expect its upgraded version which is Red Magic 3S to come with slightly better specs, though we don’t think any major changes are coming.

Nubia Red Magic 3 has proven its worth in the mobile gaming industry with some powerful specs and dedicated gaming features. It brings smooth gaming experience and long battery life that is the most important aspect of gaming. It comes with an inbuilt fan-based cooling system and has an HD+ HDR display with a refresh rate of 90Hz which makes the display butter smooth to use. Also, expect to see the same eye-catching design in the Nubia 3S like the RGB lighting strips.

We would get to know more about this new device in the coming days. So stay tuned.
