Asus ProArt is a lineup of products that are aimed at content creators and it has now been expanded with the launch of new products at IFA 2019. These include ProArt StudioBook One and StudioBook Pro X laptops along with the ProArt Station workstation and ProArt Display monitor. Since we have a lot to talk about, let's cover each of them one by one.
The Asus ProArt StudioBook One sports a 15.6-inch 4K display (UHD) with 120Hz refresh rate, 100% Adobe RGB color gamut, and 16:9 aspect ratio. It is claimed to be the "world's most graphically powerful laptop" as it comes with NVIDIA Quadro RTX 6000 graphics card. This laptop is also part of NVIDIA's RTX Studio program which means it is capable of completing high-intensity workloads like animation rendering, 8K video editing, data calculations on the go.
It comes with 9th Gen Intel Core i9 processor, up to 32GB of RAM, and 1TB NVMe SSD storage. Since it is packed with so much power, it is expected to get heated up too. This is the reason Asus has made use of lightweight aerospace-grade titanium alloy which will be dissipating all the heat. The team has also placed all the heat-generating components like CPU and GPU behind the display so that you can keep using it on your lap without feeling any heat. It also has three Thunderbolt 3 ports for connectivity purposes.
As the name suggests, the Asus ProArt StudioBook Pro X is an even more powerful laptop. It sports a 17-inch NanoEdge display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It supports 97% DCI-P3 color gamut support with less than 1.5 Delta-E which essentially means highly accurate color reproduction.
Under the hood, it features 9th Gen Intel Core i7 processor but is also available with Intel Xeon processor for those who would want to have so. It has NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 graphics card and is also a part of the RTX Studio program. The highest available configuration variant includes 6TB of storage space with the help of SSD, HDD, and NVMe storages. The RAM capacity can go as high as 128GB depending on your needs and budget. The laptop also has Asus ScreenPad 2.0 which essentially a trackpad but with a display to interact with.
The Asus ProArt Station D940MX is a desktop meant for content creators. It features an 8-liter chassis that houses all of the powerful hardware components. It will be coming with 9th Gen Intel Core i9 processor coupled with 64GB DDR4 RAM. The graphics card options include NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000 and GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. It further has dual storage in the form of 512GB PCIe SSD and 1TB HDD.
The connectivity options include two Thunderbolt 3 ports and WiFi 6 support. It also has dedicated LEDs to alert users when their graphics rendering task is completed. This will ensure that they don't have to stay in front of the desktop all the time or keep coming back to the desktop. A quick glance at the LEDs will help them know if the task is done. As for heat dissipation, it has heat pipes as well as 2D vapor chamber that is claimed to lower the temperature by up to 6.8-degree Celsius.
The Asus ProArt Display PA32UG is a powerful monitor for professionals which also seems to be a direct competitor to Apple's Pro Display XDR. It is a 32-inch monitor which is claimed to be the world's first at delivering 120Hz refresh rate and 1600 nits of brightness. It is a 4K display with support for HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HLG standards. There are 1,152 individual mini LED backlights that helps to achieve quite accurate contrast levels between bright and dark areas of an image.
The monitor offers a variable refresh rate that can adjust between 48Hz and 120Hz depending on the content visible on the display. It further comes with quantum-dot technology that helps it offer DCI-P3, Adobe RGB, sRGB, Rec. 709 and Rec. 2020 color space support. In terms of connectivity, it has three Thunderbolt 3 ports, one DisplayPort, and three HDMI ports along with an in-built USB hub.
