Asus has brought a plethora of new products at IFA 2019, among which you would also see the ultraportable laptops with dual screens. The all-new ZenBook Pro Duo features a full-width secondary touchscreen, which the company likes to call ScreenPad Plus. It integrates seamlessly with the primary display and offers endless possibilities for the content creators.
The idea of having two screens on a single laptop deemed as no lesser than ridiculous but with time, this new segment is proving itself. It has given rise to some applications that will be helpful for those who’re into creativity.
The Asus ZenBook Pro Duo is constructed with sturdy aluminum and powered by up to 9th Gen Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU. It also features a 15.6-inch 4K UHD primary display which has a touchscreen. It includes up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM, up to 1TB of SSD storage.
It also includes a Harmon Kardon-certified Asus SonicMaster stereo audio system with surround-sound. The laptop is little thicker but sturdy and is enough strong from inside as well. Some early reviews show the laptop is able to render 10-12 minutes 4K videos in lesser than 9 minutes. The laptop is going to be helpful for the users into editing and use Photoshop or Lightroom.

Alongside, Asus has also launched a 14-inch ZenBook Duo which also features a secondary touchscreen called the ScreenPad Plus. It’s powered by up to 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and GeForce MX250 graphics. It has a PANTONE Validated FHD NanoEdge display.
The Asus ZenBook Pro Duo will be available in the US starting at $2,499 and $2,999.
Together with them, Asus also showcased AsusPro B9 (B9450). Asus claims it to be the world’s lightest business laptop at only 880grams. Being a business laptop, it stresses on some specific aspects like security, faster connectivity, and performance, plus portability among others.
According to Asus, B9 keeps users’ data secure with a Trusted Platform security chip and a built-in IR camera for safe biometric login.
It’s powered by 10th Gen Intel Core processors, ultrafast storage with up to two 1TB PCIe 3.0x4 SSDs, supporting RAID 0 or 1 for faster data retrieval and backups. It has a 14-inch screen that fits into a compact 13-inch profile. It features a four-sided NanoEdge display with a remarkable 94% screen-to-body ratio. It is 14.9mm thin and useful for business persons who commute a lot. It has also been tested to harsh US MIL-STD 810G military standards to ensure reliability.
Price of the AsusPro B9 (B945) will be disclosed once the laptops get available.
