Just before the MWC 2017 event, new images of Asus' upcoming laptop set for Q2 2017 has been leaked out. The laptop is a convertible 2-in-1 one called as the Asus ZenFlip UX370 and will land in the market to compete against the Lenovo Yoga. The leak comes from an Italian blog Notebook Italia but doesn't specify any specifications of the laptop.
The UX370 will come as a successor to the company's Flip UX360 that was released in June last year. Microsoft deems the laptop as "hero" which features Windows 10 and other features like Windows Hello, Cortana with Voice, Windows Ink, Continuum, Xbox, and eventually the Windows Holographic. However, some rumors suggest that the UX370 may not support Cortana with Voice but instead offer a fingerprint reader on specific configuration variants. There might also be stylus-based variants.
Here's what the Flip UX360 packed when it launched:
If Asus decides to continue with the Intel Core 'm3' processors, the upcoming laptop lineup might pack the latest seventh-generation Core m3-7Y30 CPU that was released in Q3 2016. The processor has two cores and four-threads with a base clock speed of 1GHz and boost clock of 2.6GHz. The GPU includes HD Graphics 615 one with a base speed of 300MHz and boost speed of 900MHz.
The laptop might be available in a Mineral Gray (dark gray) or more likely Royal Blue casing. We also won't be seeing the gold details alongside the body. We'll get the full details at the MWC launch.
