Asus launches VG245Q gaming display with 1080p resolution for just $200. The new display uses an inexpensive TN panel with a refresh rate of 40Hz to 75Hz for a fast response time. The display features support for AMD’s Free Sync dynamic framerate technology AMD’s FreeSync technology as well as a Display Port which makes it perfect for gamers.
The ASUS VG245Q display uses a 24” TN panel with 1920×1080 resolution and has 170°/160° viewing angles. It has 250 nits brightness, a 1 ms response time and comes with two 2 W speakers. It has two HDMI ports, one Display Port, and one D-Sub connector.
The monitor comes with an adjustable stand with 90-degree pivot and swivel, as well as a +33-degree to 5-degree angle and a 0 to 130mm height modification setting. The Asus VG245Q is expected to be priced at $200 and comes with a Black chassis.
Asus range of gaming 'console' now includes three models including the VG245Q, the VG245H, and the VG245HE which were launched last fall. All the three monitors use the same panel, with slightly different specs. The VG245H has the same chassis as the VG245Q but doesn’t have a Display Port, while the VG245HE doesn’t have swivel, pivot or height adjustment features.

Another gaming monitor from Asus? The other day I read about Asus launching a dedicated (should I say) laptop for a whopping $12,250.
Yeah, I read about that and it was a liquid-cooled gaming laptop. Features like 64GB made it costlier. But this is a pretty mid-range one, so not too heavy on your pocket.
Exactly. These two aren't even in the comparing range. It's just 1080p costing $200 only.
