Considered one of the industry’s oldest names, Kodak has launched a new digital camera made to bring instant gratification even for the modern smartphone generation. The Kodak Mini Shot is the second iteration of the company’s Printomatic Instant Camera which launched earlier this year and combines the best of both a photo printer and a digital camera.
Making use of a 4Pass photo paper, the Kodak Mini Shot prints out credit-card sized photos captured through its own single focal length 10MP snapper, rated at f/2.55. The camera features a 1.7-inch LCD viewfinder with a few basic controls and prints out 2.1 x 2.1-inch pictures on an adhesive backed Kodak paper, which is fingerprint- and water-proof.
In addition to its own camera, the Kodak Mini Shot can be connected to other mobiles devices via Bluetooth in order send pictures from the camera to your phone or vice versa. The camera supports both iOS and Android devices if you use the Kodak Mini Shot app from the App Store or Google Play Store respectively.
A basic instant print camera with a basic price tag to match. The Kodak Mini Shot can be bought from Amazon for an asking price of $99.99 that bundles an 8-pack all-in-one 4Pass photo print cartridge.
