Meizu will launch the Meizu E3 smartphone tomorrow, March 21. However, the device has now appeared in two new color variants just ahead of the launch – gold and black. The device was spotted in images posted on Weibo, the Chinese social network.
As per the images, we can see that the upcoming Meizu E3 sports a vertically-arranged dual rear camera setup on the top left corner of the back panel. The Meizu branding can be seen at the bottom of the back panel as well. The device itself seems to be sporting a metal unibody design with a matte finish. The upper and lower edges of the smartphone feature the antenna bands.
On the right edge of the smartphone, we can see the power key accompanied by the side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The volume rockers are located on the other side of the device, on the left edge. The device also features an 18:9 aspect ratio display on the front. The selfie camera, an earpiece, and some of the sensors are located on the top bezel of the front panel.
Another leaked image suggests that the Meizu E3 will cost 2,299 Yuan (roughly $364) in China, which seems too expensive as compared to the Meizu E2 that costs 1,299 Yuan (around $204).
The Meizu E3 has now also made an appearance on AnTuTu where it reveals some of the specifications inside.
The Meizu E3 is powered by a Snapdragon 636 SoC paired with Adreno 509 GPU. The device packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The listing also confirms that the device sports a 5.99-inch display with a 2160 x 1080 resolution. The device runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat and scores 112478 points on the benchmarking website.
