25 March 2018 3

Here’s a bad news for users about to buy the OnePlus 5T – the device is now out of stock in the USA. As per the company’s official tweet, the flagship device is sold out in the US and Canada. The sales are also shrinking in Europe, which all leads to a single conclusion. Is the company preparing to launch the new OnePlus 6?

OnePlus usually unveils its flagships in June; however, it now seems that the company is prepping for an early launch – probably in April, which is less than a month from here. The OnePlus 6 has also been leaking in the past couple months. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 SoC and will have a bigger battery as compared to the predecessor. The new flagship is also said to cost $749, a $250 bump over the OnePlus 5T, which concerns some of the OnePlus fans who are the fan of company’s pocket-friendly flagship smartphones.

OnePlus 6 expected specifications:

  • 6.28-inch AMOLED display with 2280 x 1080 resolution
  • Snapdragon 845 SoC clocked at 2.7GHz
  • 20-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture
  • 20MP + 16MP dual rear camera with f/1.7 apertures
  • 6GB/8GB of RAM
