From the look of the things, it seems like the HTC is getting ready to announce their next flagship in May this year. The next flagship most likely will be announced as U12 or U12+. Today a new set of real-life images of U12 appear online which showcase the device design in full detail. The new images are shared by case render. Before discussing the images, it's important to mention these images are not from official sources that's why we will recommend taking these images with a grain of salt.
As per leaked images, the U12 is featuring dual snappers on the front and rear. The dual rear snappers are placed horizontally in the center with LED flashlight below it. The sensors are slightly protruding that's why on first look they look a lot similar to LG G6. At the moment it is still in the dark what kind of dual camera setup HTC will be adopting.
Like most of the latest phones, the U12 features a 2:1 display with minimal bezels around the edges. Its good to see HTC didn't copy Apple to bring notch at the top. The device lacks the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack. The fingerprint scanner is below the dual rear cameras.
From what we heard so far the U12 will be featuring a 6.0-inches Quad HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels. The Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 SoC will be powering the device with 6GB RAM and native storage of 256GB. The device will be IP68 certified like most of the latest premium flagships. Still, a lot of details regarding the U12 are still in dark, we will update our readers as soon as some more info regarding the device appears online. Stay tuned.
