The day Xiaomi confirmed they are backing the Black to produce a gaming-centric shark smartphone, the rumors mill starts producing new info at a rapid speed. So far leaked images showcases a gigantic smartphone with gamepad controls at the ends. Today a new image of Black shark appears online which seems pretty much legit. The leaked image suggests the upcoming gaming smartphone will have removable Bluetooth controls. It's not something brand new because we already saw Nintendo Switch with a similar concept.
Also, the Black Shark is not the first smartphone to copy the Nintendo Switch design because we have a number of concepts in past as well. Even ahead of Nintendo's Switch there was a number of accessories in the market which allows the user to convert their devices into Bluetooth game controllers. The key concept of Switch was to bring game controllers at edges. The Nintendo brought this concept to a tab with 7-inches display.
From the look of the things, it seems like Black is also trying to redo this concept on their Shark smartphone. It is still in dark how the company will handle the Nintendo patents issues. There are only a few details which are known at the moment. The Black Shark is expected to have 2:1 display. The Qualcomm's Octa-core Snapdragon 845 SoC will be powering the device with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage whereas the top-tier variant will have 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Another issue related to bringing controller support will be software because not all the games support controllers. So we can expect Black Shark will have special optimized software to better handle this issue without a glitch. Feel free to share your views regarding the Black Shark in the comments section below with fellow readers. Stay tuned as the announcement isn't far way, the device will go official on April 13.
