Finally, the wait is over as the Oppo sub-brand Realme announced two new smartphones in India. The new smartphones are Realme 2 Pro and Realme C1. Starting with the Realme 2 Pro, it will be up for sale from Oct 11 exclusively via FlipKart.
The Realme 2 Pro is featuring a 6.3-inches display with Full HD+ screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Under the hood, the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 660 SoC is powering the device. The base variant has 4GB RAM whereas the top of the line model has 8GB RAM. On the rear side, you will get dual cameras, the primary sensor is a 16MP module with f/1.7 aperture whereas the secondary depth-sensing sensor is 2MP. The selfie snapper is a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The selfie snapper is AI tuned to capture beautiful selfies.
The fingerprint scanner is on the rear side in the center. As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Oreo 8.1 with ColorOS 5.2 layer over it. It supports dual-SIM cards. A 3,500mAh battery cell is on board to keep its lights on.
As far as pricing is a concern, the base variant has 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, it costs INR 13,990. The standard variant has 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, it will be available at INR 15,990. The top of the line model has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, it can be purchased at INR 17,990. All the variants will be available in Black Sea, Ice Lake, and Blue Ocean.
The Realme C1 is a budget friendly smartphone. The Qualcomm's Snapdragon 450 SoC is powering the device with 2GB RAM and 16GB native storage. It has dual rear cameras of 13MP+2MP. A 4,230mAh battery is on board to keep its lights on. The device will be available at an introductory price of INR 6,999 during Diwali. The company also confirmed the Realme 2 Pro will be available for other regions as well, more detail will be revealed in next few weeks.
