Today Honor releases a new teaser regarding the announcement of next gen of Magic phone. This year Vivo and Oppo were amongst the first to announce phones with popping camera. From the look of the things, the Huawei's sub-brand Honor is all set to bring the first phone without fixed selfie camera. The company already confirmed Magic 2 will have slider design.
This year Huawei and Honor IFA's attendance was quite exciting. Both the company's announced number of new products. Huawei also confirmed the arrival of flagship Mate 20 series on Oct 16th in a dedicated event. Honor also showed intentions of releasing the first Kirin 980 SoC powered flagship pretty soon.
Oppo and Vivo opted a motorized mechanism for the popping camera whereas the Honor is looking to implement a sliding mechanism for the selfie camera. Although the Vivo's and Oppo camera is quite quick and sturdy still you can't confirm how long this mechanism will last.
Another key-selling aspect of Magic 2 will be its in-glass fingerprint scanner. The honor will also bring few extra AI goodies to attract buyers. We also heard rumors the Magic 2 could be the first phone in the market with graphene battery. The good thing is Honor fans don't have to wait longer as the Magic 2 launch is a few weeks away. We can expect more rumors will pop-up in coming days ahead of official launch. Stay tuned.
