Apple is expected to update its iPad lineup soon by launching two new iPads this year. It has been said that the iPad will finally get a makeover with all new bezel-less design and may even house a FaceID tech for security.
The latest reveal has come from a case maker called CAG who seems to have imagined how the upcoming iPad Pro would look like when housed in their case. Though this may not be an actual ‘leak’ it does give us a fair idea of how the new iPad Pro would feel. It shows a 12.9-inches variant with FaceID sensors located in the top bezel when the device is held in a vertical orientation, while it is said to work in both, horizontal or vertical orientation.
There may be another, slightly smaller, 11-inch iPad Pro variant which may accompany the larger one. It is said that Apple may finally adopt USB Type C instead of its proprietary lightening ports to support 4K HDR video output. This would mean accessories like Apple Pencil may also get a new variant. The new iPads are said to even ditch the headphone jack.
Previous reports have hinted that the new iPad Pro may feature a new and powerful A12X chip. While Apple has not yet announced the second hardware event of this year, it may be announced only a week or two before the event date which could be October 30 with devices shipping out early November.
