Nokia after its resurgence has been making some beautifully designed smartphones. The company has launched quite a few devices in 2018, however, most of these have been budget and mid-range devices. A true flagship phone has been missing from their quiver this year. One such device that has been making its presence felt is Nokia 9.
After countless leaks we, today get to see the high definition 5K renders of the upcoming Nokia 9 smartphone thanks to the popular leakster OnLeaks and MySmartPrice. These render reveal almost everything about the Nokia 9 in terms of design and are parallel to the previous leaks that we’ve seen already.
We can see the Penta camera set up at the back along with a flash and a dual-sensor which will likely be used for proximity detection. The camera setup may have a telephoto lens, a wide-angle lens, and a depth-sensing camera, among others. The Zeiss branding on the camera setup doesn’t leave any scope for imagination also there is no mention of PureView in the renders, unlike reported earlier. Apart from this camera set up the back looks plain and is devoid of any physical fingerprint sensor, which suggests that the device may come with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The biggest highlight in this render is that the Nokia 9 may not have a notched display. It looks like that the Nokia 9 may have a tall 5.9-inches display with 18:9 aspect ratio, and narrow bezels at the sides. There may a single front-facing camera and the device may come with a wireless charging support as it may have a glass back. Unfortunately, it seems the Nokia 9 may not feature a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Going by the previous reports, the Nokia 9 may feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Soc, 8GB of RAM, 128GB storage, a 4,150mAh battery and water, and dust resistance. As of now, there is not much information available around the pricing of the phone however it is said that the Nokia 9 may be launched early in 2019.
