After a long streak of rumors and leaks, Oppo's latest mid-range A7 is finally official. The Oppo A7 will be initially available for purchase in Nepal and China from November 22nd. For the Chinese buyers, the A7 is only available in one variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB native storage whereas in Nepal the device can be grabbed in 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants.
For the Chinese buyers, the A7 will be available at 1,599 Yuan whereas the base model starts at NPR 35,790 in Nepal. As expected the A7 sports a 6.2-inches display, its an IPS LCD panel with an aspect ratio of 19:9. Following the latest trend, the A7 has waterdrop notch and the screen-to-body ratio is 88.3%.
Under the hood, the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 450 chipset is powering the device. It supports memory expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD. On the rear side, the A7 has dual rear cameras, the primary sensor is 13MP with f/2.2 aperture whereas the secondary sensor is a 2MP depth-sensing module with f/2.4 aperture. Up front the selfie snapper is 16MP.
The device has a traditional 3.5mm headphone jack and MicroUSB port for connectivity and charging. As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Oreo 8.1 with ColorOS 5.2 skin over it. A fairly large 4,230mAH battery is on board to keep its lights on. The device is initially listed in three striking colors including Amber Gold, Lake Light Green, and Fresh Powder.
