Vivo NEX 2 with triple rear cameras and dual display teased officially

03 December 2018 2

Vivo has created a different league of its own. Talking about the pure bezel-less design to pioneering and commercializing the in-display fingerprint sensor, Vivo has done it all. And now the Chinese company wants to raise the bar higher.

Since the past few days we have seen a couple of leaks revealing Vivo NEX 2 featuring dual displays and triple rear cameras, however, the company has shared an official teaser confirming the speculations. With the release of this teaser, it looks like the Vivo NEX 2 may launch very soon.

The company has shared not one but three such teasers highlighting the key features of the upcoming Vivo flagship smartphone. The teasers reveal the phones’ Dual display, the presence of the in-display fingerprint sensor, near bezel-less design, a triple rear camera setup with a circular ring light around the cameras.

The rear display is slightly smaller in size and looks like an OLED display. It can be used to capture selfies hence it looks like that Vivo has omitted the mechanical pop-up selfie camera. It is rumored that the third sensor at the back is a 3D TOF (time-of-flight) sensor for face unlock. The front firing ear-piece is located on the bezel, unlike the Vivo NEX S which features a piezoelectric motor that created sound by vibrating the display.

Going by the teasers, the phone looks quite a bit like the Nubia X which was launched a few days back. The Vivo NEX 2 is expected to come with a Snapdragon 8150 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM along with 128GB storage and is rumored to launch on December 11.

The vivo NEX S isn't still available. To be notified when it becomse available click here.
