This year Japanese giant Sony unveiled only one compact phone so far alongside the flagship Xperia XZ2. Although the company unveiled its successor Xperia XZ3 back at the IFA 2018, however, the XZ3 Compact wasn't announced. From last few days, we have been hearing rumors regarding the Xperia XZ3 successor. Recently we have CAD renders of Xperia XZ4 shared exclusively by Mysmartprice. Today the well-known tipster @OnLeaks join hands with @CompareRaja for the Xperia XZ4 Compact renders. The Xperia XZ4 Compact is also expected to go official at the MWC 2019 alongside the flagship variant.
According to CAD renders the Xperia XZ4 Compact dimensions are 139.9 x 66.5 x 9.3mm which means it will be slightly taller and less thick than the Xperia XZ2. Following the latest trend, the Xperia XZ4 features slightly thinner bezels than the predecessor. The display is of 5.0-inches and the aspect ratio will be 2:1.
The top bezel has selfie camera, earpiece and other sensors whereas the bottom bezel has Sony branding and secondary front-facing speaker. The chassis is made up metal with glass covering the front and rear side. On the rear side, you will get single rear snapper and LED flashlight. It doesn't have a fingerprint scanner on the rear side which means it will have a fingerprint scanner on the right edge. It features traditional 3.5mm headphone jack.
Under the hood, the XZ4 is expected to have the latest best hardware. Most likely it will be running on the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 chipset with 6GB RAM. As OS it will be pre-installed with Android Pie. Other details regarding camera and battery are yet not leaked.
