Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air new 12.5-inches variant launched at 3,999 Yen

22 December 2018 3

Despite the fact, the end of the year isn't far away but that won't stop the Chinese giant Xiaomi from releasing new products during this year. Last month the company unveiled a compact model of Mi Notebook Air with toned down hardware and 13.3-inches display. Today the company released an even more compact model with a slightly smaller display of 12.5-inches. The latest variant will be available at 3,999 Yuan which is $579 at current currency exchange rate.

Just for the sake of reminder, the 13.3-inches model is also available at the same pricing. The 13.3-inches variant is running on the 8th gen Intel i3 chipset with 8 Gigs of RAM. In terms of overall looks, the 12.5-inches model isn't different from 13.3-inches variant. The thickness of both the machines is 12.9mm and weighs 1.07kg. Unlike the other variants, the 12.5-inches model is running on the 7th gen Core i5 processor with 4GB RAM. The built-in native storage is 256GB.

Unfortunately, the company didn't reveal the battery cell of new variants. However, the company claims the new model will survive up to 11.5 hours on a single charge. As OS it is pre-installed with the Windows 10. For connectivity, it has USB-C port and also supports fast charging. Although the new Mi Notebook Air is official the exact release time is still in the dark. We can expect it to be available in the next few days.
