HMD led Nokia has launched quite a few budget and mid-budget phones in 2018, however, a proper flagship was sorely missed. Now with just a few days left in this year, we can only hope that Nokia 9 PureView gets launched early next year. Apart from the Nokia 9 PureView, the company is working on a few more devices. Earlier in the day, we saw a leaked image of an upcoming Nokia phone with triple rear camera setup.
Now there is a new leak which suggests that a new Nokia phone has just got the BT SIG and FCC certifications. Key specification details revealed from these certifications are:
- 5.99-inch screen
- Snapdragon 439
- Dual 13MP + 5MP rear camera, 8MP front camera
- 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage
- NFC support, Bluetooth 4.2
- Android 9 Pie
Going by the leaks, this looks like a low-end device, however, the presence of just 2GB of RAM and NFC is slightly contradictory. Though its pretty early to say anything at the moment. Another thing worth noticing here is the presence of Snapdragon 439 SoC which was launched in June this year.
It is a variant of Snapdragon 430 SoC and is expected to be slightly more powerful and power efficient than the Snapdragon 430. As of now, this is all that we know about this device and we’ve got no idea what Nokia plans to call it. So let's wait for more information about this phone.
