Sony sends out media invite for a CES event

02 January 2019 2

Sony is among the first few to announce their presence at this 2019's edition of CES tech conference. The company has sent out ‘Save the date’ emails announcing its press briefing to be held on January 7, 2018. The invite states that the “Leadership from across the Sony Group will discuss Sony’s initiatives to connect users and creators through creativity and technology”.

Though the company has not hinted about any new products which may be revealed during this upcoming tech event, it looks like a few Sony devices across the price segment may be introduced during the show. Rumors suggest that devices like Sony Xperia XA3, XA3 Ultra, and L3 which have been leaked earlier may debut at the event.

Last year Sony announced a few mid-range devices at the same platform and is expected to repeat the same this year too. This year however not much can be guessed from the invite, however, the rumors of Sony’s 5G device making a debut have already started doing rounds in the media circles.
