03 January 2019 4

POCO F1 from Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO did really well for the price and the specs it offered. In fact, it is the cheapest Android phone featuring Snapdragon 845 SoC till date. Now there have been a few rumors that Xiaomi is working on a successor of the POCO F1 and the POCO F2 is rumored to release in Q1 of 2019.

Now thanks to a popular leakster, Benjamin Geskin, we may have got the first visuals of how the POCO F2 would look.'The leaked image suggests that the phone may resemble the recently introduced Mi Play and may still come with a notch at the front albeit a waterdrop one, vertically aligned dual rear camera setup with dual-tone flash, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and some POCO branding.

Though he did not share any specifications or the launch date of the phone, a recent rumor suggested that the POCO F2 may come with a Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB of RAM and Android 9 Pie based MIUI out of the box.

POCO’s India general manager was quick to call the listing as incorrect. Leaving us waiting for more information. In the meanwhile let us know your first impressions on this leaked POCO F2 image.
