Huawei Y6 (2019) leaked FCC certification reveal a smaller battery

04 January 2019 2

Huawei apart from working on premium P30 series or its foldable phone, is also working on a few budget Android phones. Today we have got hold of a leaked FCC certification revealing some details about yet another budget phone from Huawei called as Huawei Y6 (2019).

As the name suggests the Y6 (2019) is an upgrade to Huawei Y6 (2018) which was launched in April last year. The current leak suggests that the upcoming Y6 (2019) may feature a slightly smaller battery with 2920 mAh capacity compared to a 3,000 mAh battery pack present on the previous generation phone.

Though there aren’t too many details revealed in this certification, it does suggest that the phone may come with a Micro USB charging port, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 2.4 GHz, FM radio and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

There is no further information regarding the launch date or pricing of the phone yet. We will keep you informed as soon as we get an update.

The Huawei Y6 2018 isn't still available. To be notified when it becomse available click here.

If it's the FCC data, I trust that, which means the Huawei Y (2019) is indeed going to have a slightly smaller battery capacity. But sounds odd to have a smaller battery in a descendant.
