Lenovo phone powered by MediaTek P22 spotted on GeekBench

A new Lenovo device has been spotted on GeekBench data-base carrying a model code “Lenovo L 38083”. The listing suggests that this device is being powered by a 12nm octa-core MediaTek P22 SoC clocked at 2.0 GHz.

Other specifications of this device listed online include 4GB of RAM and Android 9 Pie out of the box. Though the mediocre scores on GeekBench include a Single Core Score of 823 and a multi-core score of 3590 along with the specifications suggest that the device belongs to the budget Android phone segment.

Though not much information is available about this smartphone, it does look like that this phone is a successor to the Lenovo K5 (2018) launched last year.
