Google is known for creating puzzles before announcing Google I/O dates which give everyone one an opportunity to try solving the puzzle and win a free invite to the annual conference. It did the same this year as well and as turns out, Lawnchair Launcher developer Till Kottmann has already solved the puzzle revealing the dates.
As per Kottmann's tweet, Google I/O 2019 will be held from May 7th to 9th at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. It is the same venue where last year's conference was held. He revealed the answer to the puzzle within an hour as he found the dates in a JSON file which Google has now deleted. It is definitely not the way Google intended people to solve the puzzle which means it is unlikely that Kottmann would be winning the prize.
It should be noted that Google is yet to reveal or even acknowledge Kottman's answer to the puzzle. But in all likelihood, the above-mentioned dates are as official as it can get at this point in time. As for what to expect at this year's conference, the details are quite scarce for now. But one can expect announcement related to the next Android version which will be Android Q (Android 10.0), new Chromecast device, Google Assistant improvements, and probably some new hardware.
We will keep you updated on all the developments related to Google I/O 2019.
