Vivo is set to announce its new smartphone the Vivo V15 Pro on February, 20. It looks like the company is also preparing to launch a stripped down non-pro model, Vivo V15 alongside.
A Mumbai based smartphone retailer that goes by the name Mahesh Telecom has shared an image of what seems to be a promotional poster showing off an image of the upcoming device with a pop-up selfie camera, triple rear camera stating the existence of both Vivo V15 and Vivo V15 Pro. It also states that the phone would feature a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
In related news, a new color variant of the upcoming V15 Pro has been revealed by an Indian publication. This new color is a Black and Red colored gradient with checkered design apart from the regular Marvelous Blue color. The rear panel which shows off the new color does not have a physical fingerprint sensor suggesting the presence of in-display fingerprint sensor.
Specs wise, the Vivo V15 Pro seems to be a noticeable upgrade over the Vivo V11 Pro which was launched last year. The upcoming Vivo phone is said to house a large notch less Super AMOLED display with a very high screen to body ratio, Snapdragon 675 SoC, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In terms of optics, it is said to house a 48-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GM1 + 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel sensor while the front camera is said to be a 32-megapixel sensor housed in a pop-up selfie module. The price of Vivo V15 Pro in India is rumored to be around Rs. 25,000-30,000 or USD 350-420.
