Sony Xperia XA3 Plus renders with 6.5-inches CinemaWide display leaked

13 February 2019 3

The Japanese giant Sony recently confirmed the launch event on February 25th at the MWC event. Although the company didn't officially disclose the products what we know so far suggests the company will be unveiling flagship Xperia XZ4, XA3, XA3 Plus, and Xperia L3 at the event.

Almost all the aforementioned phones are in leaks from the past few weeks. The surprising aspect is Sony is planning to introduce XA3 lineup and XZ4 with 21:9 display. So far we haven't seen any phone with such an aspect ratio. Since the bezel-less design is trending we have seen smartphones with 18:9, 18.7:9, 19:9 and even with 19.5:9.

From the look of the things, Sony is looking to adopt a new design with the significantly taller display. A few days ago we had the Xperia XA3 renders which reconfirms 21:9 aspect ratio and dual rear cameras. Today we have the renders of its larger sibling Xperia XA3 Ultra. As expected the Xperia XA3 Ultra also has 21:9 aspect ratio. The renders source claims the Xperia XA3 Ultra display is of 6.5-inches whereas the XA3 comes with 5.9-inches panel. As the display sizes are not from the official sources that's why we will recommend to take it with a pinch of salt.

Another important of the design is XA3 Ultra comes with thick bezel at the top whereas it has almost none bezel at the bottom. The rear side has dual cameras placed horizontally in the center with dual LED flashlight. The fingerprint scanner is embedded on the right edge alongside the power and volume buttons. For connectivity, the device has 3.5mm headphone jack and USB-C port.
