Vivo IQOOs first phone could be a foldable smartphone; Renders leaked

15 February 2019 2

Vivo has recently launched its sub-brand, iQOO. Under this brand, Vivo plans to introduce futuristic and premium smartphones. According to reports, the smartphones under iQOO brand may cost upwards of CNY 5000 or USD 739.

If a report from a leakster on Chinese social media Weibo is to be believed, Vivo has already started pitching iQOO’s first device to partners. The leaked presentation images suggest that the first phone could be a foldable device with extremely thin bezels.

The renders show that the phone is designed to fold outwards, unlike renders of other foldable phones which we’ve seen, leaving both the sides of display useable. This phone is said to cost over USD 1,000 or CNY 7,000. While the renders do not show any ports or buttons, it looks like that the phone either follows the Vivo Apex 2019 approach or this may just an early render. Rest we will have to wait till we get official details.

The vivo IQOO isn't still available. To be notified when it becomse available click here.
