We all know that Google is working on a couple of budget Pixel smartphones, the Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 XL lite. These devices are said to be launched around spring this year. While there have been a lot of speculations and leaks unfurling around these devices, it looks like Google is getting them ready for launch now. A couple of new Google devices have reportedly been filed with FCC for approval hinting towards an imminent launch.
The FCC filings though do not reveal many technical details, however, the new devices are listed under model numbers G020B for the 3 Lite, and G020F for the 3 XL Lite. There are six new listing suggests that there may be three different device variants of each phone. The listings also reveal the SAR levels and radiation levels of these upcoming Google devices.
The filings also show that both devices have Wi-FI, Bluetooth, NFC, and LTE connectivity and run Android 9 as the operating system. Google has filed a request for confidentiality to protect images and other details to be kept under wraps until August 24 which is before the regular fall event from Google suggesting that these devices may be launched prior to the Pixel 4 launch.
