AnTuTu lists the top 10 Android phones of February 2019

Back on February 20th, the Chinese giant Xiaomi wraps off the cover from the much-anticipated flagship Mi 9. On the very same day, Samsung took the stage in San Francisco to launch S10 lineup phones. As expected to be the flagship phone the Mi 9 is packed with the Qualcomm's latest best SoC. Thanks to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 SoC, the Mi 9 is one of the most powerful flagship available in the market.

At the launch event, the company showcased the Mi 9 AnTuTu benchmark score of 387,851 points. The company claims the Mi 9 scores make it 21% faster than its predecessor. In comparison against Huawei's Kirin 980 and Apple A12 SoC, the Mi 9 was faster 26% and 7% respectively. Today AnTuTu officially releases the list of top 10 Android smartphones of February 2019 on the basis of performance. As expected the Mi 9 is taking a lead with an impressive score of 371,849 points.

The second position is attained by another Snapdragon 855 driven flagship Lenovo Z5 Pro GT, it achieves 353,469 points. Those who are unaware of the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 SoC is built on the 7nm process. The best aspect of this chipset is its multi-core AI engine which boosts the AI handling performance up to 3 times as opposed to its predecessor. Not just that it comes with Computer Vision ISP which enhances the computational photography to capture great shots in low-light scenarios.

Just for the sake of reminder, the Mi 9 sports a Super AMOLED display of 6.39-inches with Full HD+ screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The base model comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage whereas the top-tier models have 8GB RAM with either 128GB or 256GB storage. The rear side has triple rear cameras of 48MP + ultra-wide 16MP + Telephoto 12MP sensor. The front-facing selfie snapper is 20MP.

As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Pie with MIUI 10 skin over it. A 3,300mAh battery is on board to keep its lights on. It comes with Quick Charge 4+ for fast charging as well as 20W wireless charging.
