A while back, we begin hearing a lot about Vivo’s upcoming futuristic smartphone that was to have no ports at all. While the earlier concept renders completely blew people off, it’s interesting to see how the company has finally unveiled the Apex 2019 smartphone that literally has no ports at all! The truly bezel-less design. Previously, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer was to show off the smartphone at MWC even though the public debut got delayed somehow.
APEX 2019 is shaped out a single piece of glass and interestingly has no buttons at all. It uses capacitive and pressure sensors beneath the display to simulate volume and sleep buttons. So how does it charge? Well, it offers a magnetic connector for charging and as well as for data transfers. Then to replace the speaker, Vivo incorporated a relatively new technology where the display of the phone acts as a speaker by making vibrations.

All of these features have apparently worked quite impressively for the early-testers and have been applaudable by all corners especially its unibody glass design. While this phone is still presented as a ‘concept’ and there is no surety if it would hit the market for sale at all. What do you think of such a device? Let us know in the comment section below.
