Xiaomiís next is a Snapdragon 730 powered smartphone; India launch teased

26 April 2019 2

Xiaomi India’s managing director Manu Jain has announced that the company is gearing up for yet another smartphone launch. The company launched the Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro in India followed up with the launch of Redmi Y3 and Redmi 7, which were launched a few days back.

Now, Manu Jain has tweeted that the company will launch yet another device and this upcoming device will feature the “Snapdragon 7_ _ (announced just 2 weeks ago)”.

To recall, Snapdragon 730 and Snapdragon 730G were recently announced by Qualcomm with the 730G being a gaming-focused processor. We feel that this new device could be powered by the Snapdragon 730. According to a recent leak, Xiaomi is working on a new device powered by Snapdragon 730 SoC, triple camera setup (48MP + 8MP + 13MP) and 4,000 mAh battery pack.

It looks like this is the same device which will make its way to India after launching in China. While there isn’t much information available at this point in time, however, it looks like that this phone may launch as a Mi in India, most probably Mi A3.

While there is no specific date announced for this launch, it looks like that Mi A3 may make its debut earlier that it is expected, in India.

You know, the specs look so powerful, it interests and "forces" you to buy the devices for being cost-effective with impressive specs sheet. It's addictive in a good way :D :D
