Google Pixel 3a spotted on Geekbench ahead of its launch

30 April 2019 2

Google Pixel 3a is probably a week away from its debut however, that doesn’t stop the constant flow of details being leaked about the phone. After the recently leaked press renders, which revealed a couple of color options for the upcoming phone, now it has been spotted on the benchmarking site, Geekbench again.

As per the latest benchmark database, Pixel 3a codenamed Sargo is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm SoC with a base frequency of 1.71 GHz, runs on Android 9 Pie and houses 4GB of RAM. Sadly, the listing doesn’t mention any more identifiable information about the internals of the device.

As per previously leaked information, the Google Pixel 3a XL may be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC. While the Pixel 3a may have a slightly less powerful Snapdragon 670 SoC and a 5.6” display. These devices are highly anticipated for a couple of reasons. Since the original Pixel is costly this budget Pixel will let users experience the best of Google’s software at a slightly affordable price. Also, since it’s a Pixel device, the camera performance of the phone is expected to be great. Rest, since we’re just a week away from the announcement, let us wait for more, officially.

The Google Pixel 3a isn't still available. To be notified when it becomse available click here.

Yup, the listing is there on Geekbench. But kind of incomplete and insufficient. A few more details, and it'd be cool to get more concrete idea about the Google Pixel 3a.
