The OnePlus 7 lineup will go official in next few days, today we compile all the rumors and leaks we know so far regarding the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. As reported earlier, the company recently confirmed the launch event of OnePlus 7 Pro on May 14th. Unlike the big OEMs, the company is holding four launch event. The biggest amongst all will be in New York at Pier 94 on 11 am.
The second event will kick off at 4 pm in London at Printworks. The third event will be for the Indian fans in Bangalore at 8.15pm. These three events will be on May 14th. For the home country, the company set the May 16th launch at 2 pm in Beijing. Fortunately, the company will Live telecast the launch event via official accounts.
Surprisingly the launch events only mention OnePlus 7 Pro, it could be because of being more premium than the standard OnePlus 7. Like its predecessor, the OnePlus 7 will be slightly expensive. Last year the OnePlus 6T base model costs $550. This year we can expect a little bump in the pricing.
The most important question in everyone's mind is how the latest OnePlus 7 looks in terms of design. One thing is sure OnePlus 7 will have a new design language. Recently we had seen case renders shared by Sudhanshu Ambhore which gives a pretty good idea regarding what to expect from OnePlus 7 in terms of design. The front-facing side has a full front-facing display. The only prominent bezel is a the bottom. On the bottom edge, you will get bottom-firing speakers, USB-C port and SIM card slot. It doesn't have a traditional 3.5mm headphone jack. The triple rear cameras are aligned vertically in the center.
Being the Pro model the OnePlus 7 Pro comes with few refinements. It comes with round corners from the edges. The OnePlus 7 Pro glass rear is gently curved so that the device can be grabbed easily. It is also rumored to have a larger display than the standard variant.
The display is certainly one of the aspects which isn't much leaked ahead of the official unveiling. Recently the Galaxy S10 also awarded with the same ratings which mean we can expect the OnePlus 7 Pro will have a good display panel as the Samsung's latest flagship. It is also rumored to be the first OnePlus phone with Quad HD+ screen resolution.
It is not a surprise to see OnePlus opting the latest best components under the hood. The OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro will be running on the Qualcomm's latest best Octa-core Snapdragon 855 chipsets. It's the first Qualcomm chipset built on the 7nm process which is currently powering almost all Android flagships in the market. The OnePlus 7 recently appeared at the Geekbench listing with Snapdragon 855 SoC.

The guys at Wired has early access to the pre-production unit of OnePlus 7 Pro. They claim the extra sensor is an optical zoom sensor with up to 3x zoom. Having an extra sensor will certainly improve the OnePlus 7 lineup cameras capabilities as opposed to the predecessors. The Wired claims the HDR feature is much improved.
The OnePlus 7 cameras shutter lag is less than 0.3 seconds. Other goodies include Auto HDR and support for digital zoom up to 10x. As per the so far leaks, the OnePlus 7 Pro primary snapper is a 48MP module. The secondary sensor is a 16MP sensor whereas the optical zoom lens is an 8MP sensor. The details regarding the selfie snapper are still in the dark.
As per an e-commerce listing, the OnePlus 7 comes with slightly different cameras setup. The primary sensor is a 48MP module. The secondary sensor is 20MP. The telephoto sensor on the rear is a 5MP sensor. The selfie snapper remains 16MP like the predecessor. If the listing is accurate it would be surprising to see the standard OnePlus 7 has better secondary snapper than the Pro model at least on the basis of a megapixel.
