The Japanese giant Sony wraps off the cover from a new compact smartphone Xperia Ace in Japan. The Xperia Ace is the latest budget-friendly compact phone from Sony. In terms of specs, the Xperia Ace is featuring a 5-inches Triluminos LCD display with Full HD+ screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The display aspect ratio is 2:1. The device features a front-facing stereo audio setup for the soothing audio experience. The good thing is it retains the traditional 3.5mm headphone.
Under the hood the Qualcomm's Octa-core Snapdragon 630 SoC is powering the phone with max clocking at 2.2Ghz. The Octa-core chipset is accompanied by 4GB RAM. The built-in native storage is 64GB which is further expandable via MicroSD up to 512GB. The rear side has single snapper of 12MP with f/1.8 aperture. It has optical and electronic image stabilization. Up front, the selfie snapper is a wide-angle 8MP sensor with 120 degrees field of view.
As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Pie straight out of the box. The fingerprint scanner is embedded on the right edge under the power button. The device is an IPX5/IPX8 certified which provides resistance against water and dust up to some extent. Both the SIMs support 4G connectivity and VoLTE. The Xperia Ace dimensions are 140x67x9.3mm and weigh 154g. A 2,700mAh battery cell is on board to keep the device lights on. For connectivity, it comes with Type-C port.
