ZTE Balde A5 2019 now official with 13MP camera and Android Pie

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer ZTE silently wraps off the cover from a new mid-range Blade A5 in Russia. The device appeared at the EEC a few months ago and finally it is official now. Let's have a look what Blade A5 2019 is bringing in terms of specs and design.

Being the budget-friendly option the Blade A5 2019 features a unibody plastic design. It doesn't have a fingerprint scanner. The LCD display is of 5.45-inches with HD+ screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. The display aspect ratio is 2:1 with prominent bezels at the top and bottom of the display. An Octa-core SC9863A chipset is powering the phone with max clocking at 1.6Ghz. The chipset is accompanied with 2GB RAM and built-in storage is 16GB which can be further expanded using MicroSD up to 256GB.

The primary snapper on the rear is a 13MP module with f/2.0 aperture and LED flashlight. The front-facing selfie snapper is 8MP with f/2.4 aperture. As OS the device is pre-installed with MiFavour 9.0 based on Android Pie. A 2,600mAh battery is on board to keep its lights on. For connectivity, it comes with MicroUSB port.

It is up for sale from a number of e-retailers in Russia in blue and black colors. The device is up for sale at RUB 6,490 which is roughly $100 at current currency exchange rate.
