Google Pixel 4 could have dual selfie cameras, alleged screen protector hints

30 May 2019 2

2019 has been an amazing year for the smartphone industry with flagships pushing the technological boundaries. While Samsung made its strong move by launching Galaxy S10 and is preparing for Galaxy Note 10, we have another contender in making by Google i.e. Google Pixel 4 XL. The phone has been in the news since long and rumors have been floating around it in all regards. The phone was earlier spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 855 SoC and 4GB RAM.

Another rumor previously shared how the phone would have a punch hole and this now also gets pretty much confirmed by an alleged screen protector of Pixel 4 XL. The protector has a punch hole place for selfie camera which suggests that it would probably offer a dual front-facing camera unit. The screen protector is up for preorder.

The protector having camera hole in the top right corner much like Galaxy S10+ is up for sale on Skinomi’s website which is a California. The protector also suggests the presence of stereo speakers cut outs on top and bottom in addition to slim bezels.

Pixel 4 XL is expected to maintain the dual camera setup with regular and wide-angle selfie camera units. The phone is expected to offer dual-SIM functionality and would surely support the latest Google Assistant feature that the company boasted at Google I/O 2019 conference. The phone would most likely be powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC though RAM option is yet difficult to speculate, still, it would be quite interesting if Google bumps it up above 4GB RAM option.
