Nokia preparing to launch new mid-ranged smartphones next week

HMD Global owned Nokia is making some moves in the smartphone market as one of its mid-ranged smartphone (codenamed ‘Wasp’) got through FCC certification hinting towards a possible launch soon. Now in the recently developed for the Indian smartphone market, the company sent out invitations to the media houses for the launch of Nokia 1 Plus and Nokia 9 PureView in an event that would take place in New Delhi.


Likewise, in the global scenario, another event is expected to take place in Italy where Nokia could curtain off Nokia X71 or some other name to cater to the affordable smartphone market. While the news revolves around a smartphone packing Snapdragon 429 handset, chances are that HMD Global might also launch the successors to Nokia 5.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 2.1 in an event that could take place in Moscow, Russia.

Considering the announcements at Mobile World Congress 2019 event that takes place in Barcelona, Spain where Nokia introduced Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2 and thus the only phones we’re left to speculate about are Nokia 2.2, Nokia 5.2 and a Nokia 6.2. The Nokia 9 PureView hasn't been launched in India yet? I've been reading about the phone for ages now. But wasn't sure if it was there for India yet or not.
