Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 to develop 115 devices spanning over different categories

Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor is a well known name for its chipset which powered all the high-end smartphones released in the year 2016. The company recently spread a good news in Global Mobile Internet Conference which was conducted at China, when Qualcomm publicize that they are developing 115 devices, spanning over to many categories like phones, tablets, VR gadgets, robotics, unmanned vehicles, car systems. These devices will be announced by the company later in this year.


Qualcomm further showcased some of its high-end latest smartphones that contain Snapdragon 820, they are: The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, LG G5, and flagships by Chinese brands like Xiaomi (Mi 5), Lenovo (ZUK Z2 Pro), LeEco (Le Max 2), and Vivo (Xplay 5 Ultimate). The company later displayed VR device- Pico Neo headset and controller and a car with Snapdragon 820A- based tablet dashboard. The 820A is a new version of Qualcomm processor which is designed for smart cars, featuring an embedded software platform and support for QNX, Google's Android Auto and Apple's Car Play.


We must admit that Snapdragon 820 is rising in a broad way. And it is always nice to see if something great and revolutionary is happening in this industry.
