Can the iris technology make the Homtom HT10 a premium device?

Homtom HT10 is a high-value device which aims to compete with the high-spec devices rather than some budget/value phones. The device is indeed capable of challenging the big boys in the market as it packs a midrange to upper midrange specifications and also a reasonable price tag. The key feature of the device is an iris scanner, technology is used in several new devices for user identification and security authorization.

Homtom has released a comparison video to demonstrate the working and efficiency of HT10’s iris scanner. The video compares Vivo X5 Pro, ZTE Axon A2015, and Homtom HT10 to know whether the Iris Recognition is better than Eyeprint ID. They are tested with naked eyes, eyes with specs and finally in a low light environment. Watch the video to know the results:
