Coming from H. Moser, the Swiss Alp Watch Zzzz is rectangular shaped watch with curved edges made to blend into a metal frame with a clear dark display, which makes it so much like… well, an Apple Watch itself. With no smart features to boast off, it’s clearly amusing how something as obsolete as this would be sold for $27,000.
The Swiss-made Apple Watch ripoff also lacks a Digital Crown which is very much the most significant feature on the Apple Watch and the side button as well. This could what be the let off for Apple fans to know this isn’t an Apple product. The watch doesn’t display the time when the screen is switched off either.
With a lot of many taunts being targeted, H. Moser has also released a statement to the press stating “a smartwatch which is powered off or in standby” without naming which smartwatch he targeted it to. Thus making way for a strict Apple lawsuit which more or less looks like what H Moser wants or maybe he wants to cash in on the popularity sooner. Though this is made in a move to troll Apple Watch, things are completely different in the watch market as Apple is clearly winning over many Swiss companies when it comes to watches. On regular use, the Swiss Alp Watch Zzzz would last up to four days on a single charge, after which you might have to wind it up physically to get it back on power.
The press statement states that
In this watch, the now iconic model features neither indices nor logo on its dial, proving that true luxury is unmistakable, and immediately identifiable, even without obvious marketing. The black dial — stripped not just of any signature, but also of its indices — is strictly minimalist. On this model, there is no interface: the Swiss Alp Watch Zzzz is designed to display the time, something it does beautifully. Seemingly simple.
The H. Moser Swiss Alp Watch Zzzz sells for $26,900 and the matchmaker has promised that the company would only make 20 of these.
