At the IFA 2018 in Berlin, Dell is introducing many new devices, including its new XPS and Inspiron series. Together with them, the company has also launched an ultrathin monitor with a 27-inch display.
The all-new Dell 27 USB-C Ultrathin laptop packs DisplayHDR 600 visuals into a 27-inch 1440p display that is just 0.22-inch thick. The USB Type-C connector ensures the transmission of video, data, and power from one single source. It has a minimalistic and InfinityEdge design with a silver satin finish.
The Dell 27 USB-C Ultrathin laptop has 600 nits in peak brightness and it’s integrated with Iris Glass Light-Guide Plate (LGP) technology. It allows you to enjoy crisp images with Quad HD resolution (2560×1440). Furthermore, the InfinityEdge display allows a wide viewing angle. Also, the Dell S2719DC offers a flicker-free screen which filters out the harmful blue light emissions. AMD FreeSync is also there to eliminate screen-tearing artifacts.
The laptop can be connected to the monitor and charge up to 45W from a single source. It quickly powers up the devices with one of the USB ports and one can plug into all the accessories on the other.
Dell 27 USB-C Ultrathin Monitor will be available on September 20 starting at $549.99.
