Dell with its wide array of new announcements, well, which are basically the upgrades, also announced that 4K OLED screens will be coming to some of its laptops line up. So, technically, HP isn’t going to be the only one in offering you the new OLED-equipped laptops.
Dell at CES 2019 announced that the 4K OLED screens are coming to XPS 15 Alienware m15, and G 15 as well in March. The new 4K OLED panels will support HDR, cover 100 percent of the DCI-P3 gamut and feature a 100,000:1 contrast ratio. So, you can expect a better and vibrant picture quality.
Dell also provided a brief demo and showed off the XPS 15 and Alienware m15 with OLED displays. And, according to Engadget, these models pop out colors better and the videos with HDR 60fps looked almost “three-dimensional.”
With the InfinityEdge display and OLED screens, these laptops will definitely win some hearts. It’s expected that Dell will bring the OLED screens to its more 15-inch notebooks.
The price of these OLED-equipped models hasn’t been disclosed yet but they are coming in March and so will be their price. So, let’s just wait for more inky blacks and high contrast on the laptops on the said timeframe. Stay tuned.

Considering the way companies are now pushing forward to have 8K support for their displays, 4K has to be right there.
It was the 4K content that we were talking about last year. The devices are there and so are the increasing amount of content too.
But will have to wait for the 8K scene and how it unfolds in the days to come!
