Dell has launched Alienware Area-51m, Alienware m15, and Dell G7 gaming laptops in India. These are the latest gaming products from the company and each of them targets a particular kind of users. All of these made their global debut at CES 2019 in Las Vegas earlier this year and are now available for Indian gamers as well.
The Dell Alienware Area-51m is the most expensive gaming laptop in the lineup as it offers almost everything top-of-the-line. It offers a 17-inch display with up to 1080p resolution and up to 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it features 9th Gen Intel Core processors (up to Intel Core i9-9900K) and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060/2070/2080 GPU option. It comes with 8GB of RAM which is upgradeable up to 64GB (if needed). It has three USB 3.1 ports, a Thunderbolt 3 (USB Type-C) port, HDMI 2.0 port, and a Mini DisplayPort 1.4. It has been priced at Rs. 2,99,590 for the base model.
Next up, we have the Dell Alienware m15 which is essentially an improved version of the variant from the last year. It now offers a 15-inch 4K HDR display but is also available with a 1080p panel. Under the hood, it has 8th Gen Intel Core i9-8950HK processor along with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, RTX 2070-Max Q, RTX 2080-Max Q GPU options. One of the highlighting features of the laptop is Cryo-Tech v2.0 which is essentially an improved thermal technology to keep the laptop temperature cool even during heavy usage. It will cost Rs. 1,78,399 for the cheapest variant.
The Dell G7 is the most affordable gaming laptop among these three. It has been launched in 15-inch and 17-inch display size options with up to 4K (2160 x 3840 pixels) resolution. It offers up to 8th Gen Intel Core i9 processor and GeForce RTX 2060, RTX 2070, and RTX 2080 GPU option It has different variants with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB HDD storage, 1TB SSD or hybrid storage with 2TB HDD and 1TB SSD. It starts at Rs. 1,57,399 with pricing going up depending on the particular variant.
