Dell introduces 5G-ready Latitude 9510 and new monitors | CES 2020

03 January 2020 0

Dell is coming to CES 2020 with a couple of new laptops and a few new monitors. It has updated the already popular Dell XPS 13 to make it smaller, lighter, and faster than before. The Latitude series is receiving a new member in the form of Dell Latitude 9510 which comes with 5G support and is also claimed to be "the longest battery life of any 15-inch business PC". It has also announced a total of four new monitors that are targeted at a specific user base.

Dell Latitude 9510

Dell's new Latitude 9510 offering has been released as a traditional laptop as well as in a 2-in-1 convertible form factor. It is claimed to be the "world's smallest and lightest commercial 15-inch PC" as it weighs only 3.2 pounds. It features a 15-inch InfinityEdge display that is available within the 14-inch chassis. The traditional model offers traditional display but the convertible model also supports touchscreen input.

It is powered by 10th Gen Intel Core processors with up to Core i7 option and vPro support. One of the best things about Latitude 9510 is that it supports 5G connectivity. It means users will be able to connect to fast internet even when on the go but we will have to see if 5G variant will be released globally or only in select markets. It supports Intel WiFi 6 (Gig+) which should help you get better and fast WiFi connectivity. It features the new Dell Optimizer software which Dell says works behind the scenes to help reduce lags, delays, and frustration: The battery capacity is unknown but it is supported by the ExpressCharge Boost technology. The tech will help users get up to 35% battery within 20 minutes.

The Dell Latitude 9510 has been priced at $1,799 for the base model in the United States. It will go on sale starting March 26th, 2020 that is in about three months.
