Dell unveils their first monitor with HDR 10 for $1999

22 April 2017 0

Dell has now announced their latest monitor, the UltraSharp UP2718Q. The monitor is a 27-inch 4K desktop with an addition for HDR video (specified under HDR10). Although the company has previously manufactured 4K monitors, the UltraSharp UP2718 is the company's first step into HDR. The monitor has an HDMI, DisplayPort, and a Mini DisplayPort options for connectivity along with a brightness option up to 1000 nits and a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160.

The new monitor also features Dell PremierColor with 100% Adobe RDB, 100% sRGB, and 100% REC 709. The monitor is priced at $1,999.99 and will go up on sale from a month from today, May 23.

Along with the HDR-infused monitor, Dell has also introduced two new regular UltraSharp monitors -- the 27-inch 4K U2718Q for $699.99 and the 25-inch U2518D for $499.99. Both of these monitors will be available some time in July.
