Huawei has sent press invites for the launch of the Honor 7A on April 2, 2018. The phone will be priced at CNY 1,500 ($240/€190). The device was spotted on certification site TENAA with model numbers AUM-TL00 and AUM-TL20.
The invite confirms that the phone will have a dual camera setup, and also hints at dual speakers and support face identifying biometric authentication.
The Honor 7A has a 5.7-inch screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 430 chipset with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage expandable via a microSD card slot. The phone has dual camera 13MP + 2MP rear cameras. The 7A will have an 8MP front camera for clicking selfies. It will have an integrated fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options included in the device are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS.
The Huawei Honor 7A will run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box and will be powered by a 3,000mAh battery. The phone has sleek dimensions of 152.4 x 73 x 7.8mm and weighs just 150 grams.
The Honor 7A will be launched in Black, Blue and Gold colors. It should be priced cheaper than the Honor 7C. We should know confirmed specs and price of the phone on April 2, 2018, at the official unveiling of the phone. Till then, stay tuned!
