Huawei is reportedly planning to unveil two new colours of its flagship P20 series at the upcoming IFA 2018 event.
The Huawei P20 Pro has seen immense success and comes with a number of innovative features including a triple camera setup. The phone has a gradient colour palette which has since then been reproduced by several other OEMs. The phone’s twilight colour is very interesting.
The two new colours which follow the gradient pattern of the existing models and will be announced by Huawei’s CEO of consumer Business Richard Yu. The new colours will be unveiled during the keynote address by the CEO at IFA 2018 event which is just a few days away. The images of the new colours were spotted online however, there is no proof to verify the authenticity of the images. The source who had revealed the information has pleaded with non-disclosure in a bid to protect his identity.
The two new gradient-based colours are inspired by the night sky and the aurora borealis, according to rumours. The colours will utilise a wider colour gamut than the twilight P20 Pro gradient. They will reportedly mix black on the left side, which changes to turquoise at the right of the phone. The colour mix also includes purple and blue hues similar to the twilight P20 Pro. The second colour takes inspiration from the sea and includes flora like seashells and pearls. The colour will have a tinge of yellow and pink, which is similar to the Rose Gold colour on P20 and features a gradient from white to pink. P20 series new colours are rumoured to be very beautiful and we will just have to wait a few more days for the official unveiling!
